Topic of the week: Energy Drinks
Most of us have had them. But, what do they really do? They effect different people in different ways, and should not be drank by people who are unhealthy. Today, I will be reviewing some energy drinks. Enjoy.
Red Bull: It has a great taste, sort of bitter the first couple time you drink it, but after a while it grows on you. It packs a good punch and made me feel awake almost instantly. 9.5/10
Amp: Probably one of the best tasting “energy drinks” out there. However, it gave me very little energy, and is not worth the $3. 5.5/10
Nos: It has an almost citrus-y taste that will satisfy your taste buds. It also is full of energy. I thought it was a joke when they had a warning on the side of the cool shaped bottle. It wasn’t. 10/10
Rockstar: It tastes like the nasty pie that your Aunt Shelby makes. It has some energy, but not too much. 4/10
5 hour energy: Imagine the worst tasting thing on the planet. It is called 5 hour energy. It is terrible, and like it advertises, it has the energy of a cup of coffee. Even coffee with nothing in it would taste better than this. 1/10
Monster: My favorite out of all of these. It was my first energy drink and probably will be my last. It has a great flavor and has a variety of flavors that even taste like coffee.(My favorite is Assault flavor. It’s cherry.)It packs a strong punch, and will leave you satisfied. 10/10
I based all of these drinks on a basis of 5 points for taste and 5 points for energy. The only reason why 5 hour energy got 1 point is because it gave you a wee bit of energy, but it wouldn’t last 5 hours.
